The Fastest Way To Fitness
"Perfect solution!"
I travel for my work about 60% of the time....flying all over the country. My body had taken a beating from lower back problems and a torn rotator cuff, resulting in surgery on the shoulder. Both of these serious restrictions kept me fearful of exercising and it hurt to even lift luggage and walk through airports. I knew I had to do something as I'd always been active, but didn't know what to do. Doctors had told me to do yoga or swimming only due to my injuries. Both of those activities required going someplace to participate on a regular basis, which is more than challenging with my work schedule. I read an article in Vogue magazine about a program called Super Slow that seemed like it might address my exercise needs. I found East Cobb Exercise Excellence as a result of this article and have not been sorry. This has been the perfect solution to my exercise/fitness needs. I work out once a week for about 25 minutes, my strength is improving dramatically and I feel good. I've been with East Cobb Exercise Excellence for about 10 months now and don't plan to stop. In addition to the benefit of gaining strength, particularly in my lower back, I've begun watching my diet very carefully with some suggestions of the staff at East Cobb and now have lost 11 pounds as well. What a lifesaver East Cobb Exercise Excellence has been for me.Terry and Elena Carter are wonderful people to work with, they are caring and concerned about my needs as a consumer and as a human being! Sharon Cabeen, client since 2005.
"Incredible Results"
I've been a client since January '06. I've lost approximately 15 lbs and added the same in muscle during that time. Terry really knows an amazing amount about training. I also appreciate that he constantly varies the routine to keep it interesting and challenging at all times. Jerry K., owner of Gomes Cleaning.
"The best exercise experience"
Clearly, it's the best exercise experience of my life. Terry is a very experienced trainer. He knows his job very well. He dispelled many exercise and nutrition myths for me. What I also like here is that you work one on one with your trainer, concentrate on the exercises instead of the loud music and jumping girls in leotards that serve as distractions in other facilities. After the first few workouts my muscles started getting firmer. I worked out at first twice and then only once a week for about 25 minutes while watching my diet at the same time. In 6 months I've lost about 10 pounds. It doesn't sound like much but I have gained muscle as I have lost fat. I am not saying that it is easy. You will hate the workout itself. But every time I tell myself that I can do almost anything for 25 minutes once a week, because in the end it's all the exercise I need for my body. Instead of spending hours and hours in a gym I can spend this time enjoying myself because my exercise is being taken care of. I look good, I feel strong and healthy, that's enough to make me want to do this for the rest of my life. Linda L., client since 2006.
Effective! Affordable! Encouraging! Private! Wow,
Elena and Terry are great. They constantly provide feedback and encouragement. After two years, twice a week with Exercise Excellence, at age 65 I have as much strength and muscle mass as I did in my thirties and better muscle definition! It works for me because I can wear office clothes, because it only requires 30 minutes each session, and because there are no other folks there to make me feel self-conscious. It is the most grueling 30 minutes of my week, but it is safe, doable, and adjusted each session to my needs and abilities and progress. I am addicted. Maybe at age 66 I'll try a triathalon! Rev. I’ve been working out for almost 25 years, doing everything from
aerobics and circuit training to soccer and cycling and can say with certainty that I have achieved greater strength and fitness, faster, through my training regimen at East Cobb Exercise Excellence. When I tell people that I only train once or twice a week, for less than 30 minutes, they believe it’s too good to be true! I have better muscle definition now than I did in my 30’s and although my weight hasn’t changed, I’ve gained lean muscle mass and lost about 4 inches over the last 10 months…..without feeling like I have deprived myself of food. The program works; the more you put into it, the more you will get out of it. Take it from someone who has been a gym rat for many years….I’ve learned you don’t have to spend 2 hours a day, 7 days a week in the gym to get into shape. Laura Casey, client since 2006.
For the past 10 months, I have been working out twice a week with T
erry. I can't believe how my strength has increased. I'm so aware as I go about my daily errands and activities, how much easier it is to lift and carry everything. My arms and legs have really toned up considerably. Eydie Koonin, client since 2006.
I’ve been working out with East Cobb Superslow / Exercise Excellence for the past three years and I’m a firm believer in the program. Despite maintaining a busy professional and personal lifestyle, I am still able to adhere to my workout schedule at ECEE because it is very efficient and the hours are very flexible. I am continuously improving and can definitely see the results from the 2x / week training sessions. Stephanie Joyce.

It's worth it!
In April 2004 I had a serious car accident and was in physical therapy for
18 months. I then heard about a personal trainer in the area that was really good and that could probably help me regain my strength. Boy were they right. Not only did I get back my muscle strength in my injured area I got it back in my entire body. Terry is awesome to work with and has made working out for me enjoyable. I love the fact that I have an appointment and he is always on time. Having a trainer and working one on one keeps me coming back along with the incredible results you get from the workouts. It has been a long time since my body has seen the muscle tone it has today. It's worth it!

The Superslow Weight training approach has been perfect for me. At age 55 and having gone some twenty years without touching a weight, I was looking for a workout that could build back strength fairly quickly without fear of injury and without requiring endless hours in the gym. Superslow fit the bill and then some. Two workouts a week keep the time commitment within reason and, most important of all, the workouts quickly became extremely challenging and yielded significant results, dramatically improving my overall strength and cardiovascular fitness. Because the workouts are so intense, it requires a degree of mental toughness to stick with it but the outcome for me has made it very worthwhile. After two years, I feel terrific and although my golf swing is still quite ugly indeed, I am hitting the ball a country mile.
